Keep your first and third fingers in place during the chord change. Move your middle finger up one string to the 3rd string (still 2nd fret), and place your pinky on the 3rd fret of the 4th string. From here there are only two small movements to get to the easy F chord. Lastly, place your pinky on the 5th fret of the 4th string. Next, place your ring finger on the 5th fret of the 5th string. Start by placing your index finger on the 3rd fret of the 6th string.

This is your standard C Major open chord. Power chords are the foundation of most barre chord shapes and are very useful on their own.
